From Toy Chaos 🧸⚾⚽⛹️‍♂️🏓 to Organized Rec Room

We recently received an 🆘 from a beautiful Mt. Laurel family with four children 👶🧒👦👨 under five because their Eagles-themed 🏈 basement rec room was overrun by toys 🧸⚾⚽⛹️‍♂️🚴‍♀️🛹🛴🏓 and nowhere to put them. In addition, they had an open electrical 🔌⚡ utility area that needed to be closed in to keep the children safe, and a set of open wooden stairs they wanted closed in because it was an eyesore.

Since these issues were all on the same wall, we decided on a combined solution. We built a closet around the electrical area 🔌⚡, framed out and drywalled the back and undersides of the open stairs, and built 38" deep melamine shelving which we mounted between the stairs and the new closet, giving them a combined 27 lineal feet of storage area. Then we finished it off with the *exact* NFL Eagles 🏈 colors, not the approximation they had from years before. Dad is so thrilled 😃, he's planning to repaint 🖌 the rest of the basement with our color matches. And Mom is overjoyed 🙋‍♀️ to be able to walk 🚶‍♀️ through the room since it doubles as her office👩‍💼.
